St Joseph’s School in Wonthaggi required new classrooms for its Year 5 students. These classrooms take on the form of integrated studios, consisting of a combined space that can be used for interaction between multiple classes or as private learning space. The design process allowed CHT Architects to test this new concept, whereby three groups could work either separately, or as one large group. The process involved finding solutions for both visual and acoustic issues.
