The Havenlea development was inspired by its tranquil location and the notion of a balanced, Zen-like residential environment. The notion of serenity is carried through to the design of the townhouses where dwellings are distinguished through a distinctive pitched roof form. The roof line both holds and identifies each townhouse separately, creating a series of individual identities under one roof.
The public landscaped garden areas that surround the townhouses encourage a community orientated lifestyle, establishing it as a new civic hub for landscape architecture. The intention was to create a tangible sense of place for residents and the wider community.
