The Norlane project includes a 90 bed residential aged care facility, 52 affordable housing units, a community hub and a well-being centre. The aged care facility is split over two levels and the community hub provides a single point for services for those requiring additional levels of care and for people with disabilities. The project will also include a café, a men’s shed, a communal kitchen and three multi-purpose rooms for the benefit of residents.
The project has recently been awarded support from the Government, giving instrumental funding for the Norlane project. In conjunction with the National Stronger Regions Fund Allocation, it was announced that the Norlane project would receive government support which will assist in making this exciting project a reality.
