This 7000sqm factory in Thomastown compromises of a contemporary warehouse, showroom and office for Austex Industrial Fabrics.

The design for this project encompasses three distinct areas – the massive storage warehouse, a public showroom and the office headquarters of Austex’s operations.

The industrial warehouse required a specialist approach to the challenges of storing heavy materials, resulting in a 1-metre deep soil excavation / compaction and bespoke structural reinforcements in the floor to ensure the functional longevity of the building.

The thoughtfully designed building is highly visible from the road and reflects the design aesthetic and philosophy of the Austex brand. A bold, contemporary facade fronts what is an efficient and professional space from which the client can store, display and sell their product.
